Century West provides contract staffing services to the City of Spokane Valley to assist in updating their Transportation Improvement Program. Services include identifying potential road projects, preparing preliminary cost estimates, and assembling accident, safety and capacity data. The assembled data is used to prioritize potential projects based upon road conditions/capacity, safety issues, and eligibility for state and federal grant funding. The prioritized project list is then used to prepare annual updates of the City’s 6-Year Street Plan for submittal to the Washington State Department of Transportation and the Spokane Regional Transportation Council. Additional tasks include preparing grant applications for submittal to the Washington State Transportation Improvement Board and Federal STP Regional program.
