Reclaimed Water System Line

Airway Heights, Washington

This project for Airway Heights continued the construction and extension of the City’s newly developed reclaimed water system. It provided a critical extension of the system to the City’s west side and allowed the utilization of reclaimed water to irrigate their largest park and to conserve precious drinking water. In addition, the project helped to bring the reclaimed water system closer to the center of the residential development area. This allows the City to require future developments to tie into and extend the reclaimed water system so that all new developments will no longer use drinking water for irrigation purposes. The project elements consisted of installing approximately 2,020 linear feet of 12″ and 1,000 linear feet of 8″ reclaimed water transmission main including valves, half street road replacement and other related appurtenances.
