Lamont Water System Improvements

Lamont, Washington

Century West Engineering worked with the Town of Lamont in securing funding for these needed water system improvements. We provided a Small Water System Management Plan, design engineering, and construction management for $1,065,000 of improvements to their water system. System improvements included developing a small water system management plan, an environmental report, new well, new water storage reservoir, and replacing the Town’s water distribution system. Our services included designing and permitting a new well with a new pump, electrical controls and well house, design and construction management of a new 135,000 gallon storage reservoir, and approximately 8,100 feet of transmission line to connect the well to the City’s distribution system, and replace deteriorated water mains. Some of the major challenges on the project included securing funding from multiple sources, locating and acquiring necessary easements and property for the new well and storage tank.
