Dennis has been with Century West for over 35 years. His experience providing civil engineering services to municipal clients in the Northwest has given him a comprehensive understanding of the planning, design, bidding, construction and operation of water and wastewater systems. Dennis has completed complex projects for sewer collection and treatment, water transmission, and transportation work. He has extensive experience writing and managing applications for multiple grants and loans from Washington State and Federal funding agencies. Dennis has performed as the agency’s engineer for many of our clients assisting in inter-agency negotiations and providing routine consulting to the City Administrator or Manager.

Matt has more than 17 years of experience providing professional engineering design and management services. His engineering consulting services include water, sewer, and transportation system planning and design, basin analysis, system modeling, utility rate analysis, grant writing services, and capital improvement services to municipal clients throughout the Pacific Northwest. Matt has also provided full construction management services for projects including reimbursement requests, funding agency coordination, managing multiple funding sources for a single project, managing construction inspection services, and contractor coordination and administration.

Bryan has over 20 years of experience in planning, design, and construction management on a variety of pedestrian, road, sewer and water system projects for numerous public agencies. As a project manager, he is responsible for the project management and administration of all aspects of project execution, keeping team members on task and on schedule and keeping the client informed and involved in the decision making process. Bryan has worked with all major funding sources in the state of Washington and has a deep understanding of program requirements and regulations.

Christine is a senior transportation planner with 36 years of experience. Her experience in both the public and private sectors has required coordination of land use and transportation needs, environmental analyses and permitting, multi modal planning, land use permitting, feasibility studies, federal and state grants and local agency funding, safety and risk assessments, circulation, environmental planning, and service/facility analyses.

Steve Nelson is a Project Manager with 11 years of civil engineering experience. His management expertise ranges from aviation and civic facilities to infrastructure and construction projects. He has been the program manager for several large-scale projects including the Orleans Levee District $95M recovery for and the City of Sidell’s $120M recovery program. In his role at Century West, Steve is responsible for project management, civil design and business development efforts.

Josh is a project manager with more than six years of experience working on site design and water resources projects. His water resources experience includes design of stream restoration and fish passage projects, development of basin plans, and model calibration for drainage and combined sewer overflow systems. Josh’s diverse experience makes him an excellent resource for a wide variety of municipal engineering needs.

Larry, a resident engineer, has been a member of the Century West team for 26 years. During that time Larry has provided construction inspection, observation, and materials testing on various airport, street, highway, sewer, and water construction projects throughout the region. He has experience with reviewing submittals, preparing change orders and pay estimates, verifying certified payrolls, and overseeing the construction inspection on FAA funded projects.
