job Description

Century West Engineering, a best-in-class Northwest civil engineering consulting firm, is seeking an organized and enthusiastic coordinator to support office administration and accounting tasks at our Bend, Oregon, location. You will work closely with our technical, accounting, and marketing teams to make sure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Candidates should be hardworking, solutions-oriented, and open to a variety of duties. This position reports to Tom Headley, PE, our Bend Office Supervisor.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Assist with document production including typing, formatting, review, and printing/mailing
  • Process expense reports/billable expenses/in-house expenses
  • Execute project setups
  • Complete project closeouts
  • Acquire and maintain insurance certificates for projects
  • Maintain project files
  • Support monthly invoicing and accounting activities
  • Handle incoming phone calls and office deliveries
  • Greet clients and visitors as needed
  • Perform general office clerk duties and errands
  • Maintain supply inventory
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases
Qualifications:
  • Be organized, detailed, and able to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Capable of adapting to varying workloads and work assignments
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willing to take ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Work independently with broad guidelines; able to be self-motivated and manage time effectively
  • Have a professional and positive demeanor
  • Meticulous attention to detail and quality of work
  • Must have excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ability to learn accounting software
  • Effectively establish and maintain working relationships with clients and coworkers.
