job Description

Century West Engineering, a best-in-class Northwest civil engineering consulting firm, is seeking an organized and enthusiastic coordinator to support office administration and accounting tasks at our headquarters. You will work closely with our technical, accounting, and marketing teams to make sure day-to-day operations run smoothly. Candidates should be hardworking, solutions-oriented, and open to a variety of duties. This position reports to the Portland Office Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist with document production including typing, formatting, review, and printing/mailing
  • Maintain project files
  • Support monthly invoicing and accounting activities
  • Compile and format proposals and other marketing materials
  • Handle incoming phone calls and office deliveries
  • Greet clients and visitors as needed
  • Perform general office clerk duties and errands
  • Maintain supply inventory
  • Create, maintain, and enter information into databases
  • Ensure the office is well-organized and presentable
  • Be organized, detailed, and able to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere
  • Capable of adapting to varying workloads and work assignments
  • Have strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Willing to take ownership of projects from start to finish
  • Be able to work without supervision
  • Have a professional and positive demeanor
  • Must have excellent computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and ability to learn accounting software
  • Experience with Ajera accounting software a plus
  • Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) or equivalent a plus
