Ephrata Municipal Airport, Airport Master Plan & AGIS Survey

Ephrata, WA

Project

Century West and T-O Engineers recently completed an update to the current Ephrata Municipal Airport Master Plan completed in 2004. Key elements we studied in the planning process were airport land use and the possible release of surplus property; glider runway evaluation; apron and airfield geometry evaluation for conformance with new FAA standards; and significant flight training activity.

The project also included an aeronautical obstruction survey. The Master plan was done in compliance with AGIS Advisory Circulars and included an airport airspace analysis for vertically-guided operations for all runways. The data collected included imagery, obstacle identification, NAVAID location, and ground survey of airport planimetric data.

The partnership between T-O Engineers and Century West on the project provided for a comprehensive, efficient, and cost effective planning project for the Airport that benefits from T-O’s long history at the airport as the current airport engineer.
