Century West was a subconsultant to CLC Associates for this project that was part of a large commercial development. Century West provided design and construction management services for a new Gorman-Rupp, wet-well mounted, self-priming, triplex pump station. The system included an 18 foot deep cast-in-place concrete wet well, centrifugal pump system, new gravity and force main connections, odor control system, 20,000-gallon emergency storage vault, emergency backup generator, and SCADA system. Design challenges included the presence of three other lift stations that share two force mains into which the H2 lift station discharges and force main piping connections to accommodate multiple flow scenarios.
