Water Reservoir
Project
Century West provided the design and construction management services for construction of a 1-million-gallon, cast-in-place concrete water reservoir, booster station, and 7,600 feet of 16-inch water transmission main to bring the City’s total water storage volume to levels necessary to provide fire protection to their customers. The reservoir is located above a paleo channel that runs through a portion of Airway Heights. The paleo channel carries a significant amount of water through the subsurface channel and the location of the reservoir was intended to allow future expansion of the water system with a new well.
