BUSINESS HISTORY 
Don is a civil engineer with more than 28 years of experience in preliminary and final design of airport improvements, including runway and taxiway new construction and rehabilitation, hangar development, and NAVAID improvements. He also has experience with urban and rural roadway projects and site development/earthwork projects. His responsibilities include project management; FAA grant assistance and project closeout; all phases of engineering design; and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates. He is experienced in all aspects of computer-aided runway/roadway design. His work assignments have included preliminary design analyses and cost estimates, horizontal and vertical alignment evaluations, quantity calculations, construction cost estimates, site grading, stormwater design, channelization and pavement marking design, signalization design, and specification writing for various civil engineering projects.
