Century West Engineering, a premier Northwest civil engineering consulting firm, is looking for an intern to join our Coeur d’Alene, ID or Sandpoint, ID office this summer! Internships will focus on public transportation and utility projects and give interns experience supporting grant writing, design, and construction. Interns must be currently enrolled in a civil engineering undergraduate program at an accredited college or university and have an interest in municipal consulting. Candidates entering their senior year are preferred, though we will consider applications from incoming juniors.

Our learning objectives for interns include:

• Building technical skills through the preparation of engineering-related calculations, design drawings, and specifications
• Improving AutoCAD skills
• Providing hands-on inspection experience at construction sites
• Gaining an understanding of civil engineering consulting including the soft skills required to be a successful consultant
• Building relationships with industry contacts

Century West is committed to providing interns with experience that will allow them to hit the ground running as an Engineer-in-Training upon graduation.

Pay Scale: $25 per hour
