Who We Are

Century West Engineering Corporation (Century West) was founded in Bend, Oregon in 1969 and has been providing responsive, quality engineering services to Pacific Northwest clients ever since. Our focus on public work manifested early in our company’s history and now nearly all our revenue comes from cities, counties, ports, and other public agencies.

We are an employee-owned company composed of licensed civil engineers, airport planners, CAD drafters, construction inspectors, accounting professionals, marketers, and administrative specialists. Our commitment to enhancing the communities we serve leads us to work with clients and staff who share our values of providing caring, creative, and collaborative public infrastructure design solutions.

Our Leadership

Matt MacRostie, PE | President | Portland, OR

Matt joined Century West as a project engineer and has since served as a project manager, municipal business development manager, Vice President, and Executive Vice President before taking on his current role as President. Matt puts his leadership skills to good use collaborating across departments to ensure they are working toward a unified vision that aligns with our values. As a project manager, Matt has been responsible for leading some of our largest projects to successful outcomes.

Matt Rogers, PE | Vice President & Director of Business Development | Bend, OR

As the Director of Business Development, Matt oversees all business development efforts and directs staff and resources to project pursuits and marketing projects. He works closely with senior project managers to identify best-fit clients with the goal of establishing profitable long-term relationships with the communities we serve. Matt also serves as the client and/or project manager for a variety of airport planning, design, and construction projects. He has been with Century West since 1993 and has a long history working on both municipal and aviation projects.  Contact Matt

Kurt Addicott, PE | Vice President & Aviation Business Development Manager | Bothell, WA​

Kurt is a highly skilled and licensed professional civil engineer who boasts over 30 years of experience in airport and transportation projects. Kurt’s impressive background includes over 20 years of managing airport development, master planning, and environmental projects, as well as close to a decade of experience as a construction engineer with civil transportation contractors. Kurt’s meticulous attention to detail and exceptional project management skills have helped numerous airport clients better define and execute their capital programs, resulting in successful, award-winning projects. ​  Contact Kurt

Rawley Voorhies, PE | Vice President, Operations | Portland, OR

Rawley has more than 20 years of experience providing municipal engineering for public clients giving him insight into infrastructure’s cost, constructability, functionality, and long-term maintenance. This experience has provided exposure to a wide range of tasks, from working through the intricacies of design, permitting, and construction management efforts for multidisciplinary consultant teams. Rawley prides himself on collaborating with clients to understand their needs and using his breadth and depth to lead his client’s needs from concept through completion.

Joe Roshak, PE | Vice President | Bend, OR

Joe joined Century West straight out of the University of Portland in 1988 and has been with the company ever since. Through his years as an engineer and project manager, Joe developed a proactive management style and was highly regarded for his ability to keep projects on time and on budget. During his tenure as President, Joe guided Century West through a period of growth and strategic planning. Today, he continues to support the company through mentorship, quality assurance/quality control, and operational guidance.
