Grove Field
Airport Master Plan & Economic Impact and Opportunities Study
Introduction
Airport Master Plan
The Port of Camas-Washougal has partnered with Century West to undertake the development of an Airport Master Plan (AMP). This 18-24 month process will prepare a long-term roadmap for airport operations, infrastructure, and growth – aligning with FAA standards, industry best practices, and community priorities.

This planning process will help lay the groundwork for a strong future partnership with the City of Camas and Clark County. Together, we can advance shared goals that support economic development, infrastructure readiness, and long-term community resilience.
Economic Impact and Opportunities Study
Alongside the Airport Master Plan, the Port of Camas-Washougal has partnered with ECOnorthwest, an independent economics firm, to take a close look at what Grove Field means to our local economy today, and what it could mean in the future.
The study will examine how the airport and Port properties currently support jobs and local businesses, explore what kinds of new economic activity could realistically grow here, and help chart a course that keeps Grove Field financially healthy while serving the community for generations to come.
The study covers all Port properties, including the Steigerwald Industrial Park and Parker’s Landing Marina, but Grove Field and the Port-owned surrounding land will be a focus to inform the Airport Master Plan. The goal is to find real, practical opportunities that make the airport more sustainable and strengthen the airport’s value to the community and those who live and work nearby.
We Welcome Your Input.
Your voice shapes both plans. You don’t need to participate in separate processes to weigh in on the Airport Master Plan and the economic study – they’re intentionally designed to work together.
When you attend an open house, complete a survey, or share feedback through the AMP process, your input is shared directly with the Port, Century West, and ECOnorthwest. Whether you’re a pilot, neighbor, business owner, or community member, your perspective helps shape future airport improvements and the economic opportunities that follow.

Public Meetings
Online surveys, public open houses and Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) meetings will be offered at key milestones throughout the Airport Master Plan process. Please check the schedule for tentative timing and visit the website regularly for updates on meeting dates and survey opportunities.
Listening Session #1 – Online & In-Person
We invite you to share your perspective on the airport
The Port of Camas-Washougal is beginning the Airport Master Plan process for Grove Field. This effort will align with FAA standards, industry best practices, and community priorities while establishing a long-term vision for airport operations, infrastructure, and future growth. This is an invite to reflect on and share your experiences, how the airport connects to your life, and what matters most to you. Your input will inform how we shape the first open house and guide the development of meaningful activities that support the creation of community-driven goals for the Grove Field Airport Master Plan.
